Become a Volunteer

The Richland County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association is a community built on the dedication and passion of our volunteers. When you volunteer with us, you're not just giving your time—you're providing essential support that helps foster, kinship, and adoptive families thrive. We have a variety of roles available, so you can find a way to contribute that fits your skills and schedule.

Open Leadership Positions

We are currently looking to fill two key roles on our Executive Board. These positions are perfect for individuals who want to take on a leadership role and help guide the future of our organization.

  • Secretary: This role involves keeping our meetings organized and on track. You'll be responsible for taking notes at board meetings and managing important records.

  • Treasurer: The Treasurer oversees our financial health. This role involves managing our budget and handling the organization's financial reporting.

    Other Ways to Help

Your support, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference in the lives of the families we serve. Here are some of our most needed volunteer roles:

    • Meal Coordinator: Help us take care of our members by organizing meals for our monthly meetings.

    • Social Media & Marketing Lead: Use your creativity to share our story. You'll manage our social media accounts and help with marketing materials to spread the word about our mission.

    • New Member Outreach: Be the first point of contact for new members. Your friendly voice will help welcome new families and make sure they feel connected from day one.
